Lemony Sip-It!

2 tsp. Crystal Light Lemonade powdered drink mix (2 On The Go packets or 1/2 of a tub)

1 tsp. fat-free powdered non-dairy creamer (like Coffee-mate Original Fat Free)

1 1/2 cups crushed iced or 8 - 10 ice cubes

 

Dissolve creamer in 1/4 cup warm water, and mix well. Add 1 1/4 cups cold water and Crystal Light. Mix well.

 

Place mixture in a blender with the ice. Blend at high speed until thoroughly blended. (If using ice cubes, start with half of the ice. Stop blending occasionally to add a cube or two, and then continue blending -- repeat until desired consistency is reached.) For an even slushier and less liquidy consistency, place in the freezer for about 20 minutes before enjoying.

 

Yield: 1 16-ounce serving; 1 point per serving

Sugar-Free Orange Sunset Guilt Free-ze Milkshake

Yield: 1 (16 oz.) serving

 

1 tablespoon Davinci Gourmet Raspberry Sugar Free Syrup

1 scoop orange sorbet

1 scoop raspberry sorbet

1 scoop vanilla non-fat ice cream or frozen yogurt

1 cup cold non-fat (skim) milk

 

Combine the milk, syrup and two scoops sorbet, in a blender. Blend until thick and creamy and pour into a glass. Top with remaining frozen yogurt or ice cream.

Frosty Caramel Cappuccino

Yield: 2 (1-1/2 cup) servings

 

1 cup half and half cream

1 cup 2% milk

3 T. plus 2 t. caramel topping, divided

2 t. instant coffee granules

8-10 ice cubes canned whipped topping

 

In a blender, combine the half and half, milk, 3 T. caramel topping, coffee and ice cubes, cover and process until smooth. Pour into two chilled glasses. Top with whipped cream and drizzle with remaining caramel topping. Serve immediately. Yield 2 servings.

Thick & Creamy Banana Caramel Smoothie

 

½ small banana

2 oz skim milk

1 cup crushed ice

3 packets splenda

1 jell-o sugar free pudding snack – either dulce de leche, or creamy caramel (1 point)

optional: cool whip for on top

 

Combine all ingredients in blender. Blend on high until smooth and ENJOY!!!

Banana Pumpkin Smoothie

Yield: 2 servings

 

1 C low fat vanilla yogurt

¾ C canned pumpkin, chilled

½ C ice cubes

1/3 C fresh orange juice

1 Tbs brown sugar

½ tsp cinnamon

1/8 tsp nutmeg

dash of cloves

1 ripe banana, sliced & frozen

 

Process all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Serve immediately.

 

Two 1-cup servings: 218 cal, 2.2 g fat, 5.5 g fiber

Basic Smoothie

 

1/2 Banana

1/2 Cup Orange Juice

1/2 cup of something white (yogurt)

Add your choice of fruit

Ice

 

Blend and serve.

1 c skim milk

1 t instant coffee (dry granules)

2 T Chocolate Fudge s/f pudding mix (dry)

Frozen banana

1 t almond extract

6 ice cubes

 

Mix completely - very thick.

Strawberry Banana Smoothie

Yield: 1 serving; 3 points per serving

 

1 Cup Vanilla Sugar Free Soy Slender Milk

2 Tablespoons plus 1/2 teaspoon Sugar Free Instant White Chocolate Pudding Mix

2 1/2 ounces Frozen, Unsweetened Strawberries

1/2 medium Frozen Banana

1 cup crushed ice

3 Packets Splenda

 

Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. You may need to stir, because it's thick.

Tropical Smoothie

 

1c skim milk

1 frozen banana

1/2c frozen pineapple

1t coconut extract

2T banana s/f Jell-O Pudding mix (dry powder)

6 ice cubes

 

Mix thoroughly and be ready to eat with a spoon - very thick!

Banana Bread Batter Smoothie

 

1 c. ff milk

2 TBL sf/ff banana pudding mix

1/4 tsp cinnamon

Pinch nutmeg

1/4 tsp. walnut extract

 

BLEND and then add

 

1 whole frozen banana, peeled

 

Blend until smooth and enjoy!

 

Variation: Banana Bread Batter "Blizzards"! At the end I add in Fiber One and "pulse" to break up the pieces, slightly. Eat with a long Blizzard spoon.

Yield: 1 serving

 

1 cup skim milk

2 tbs choc sf/ff pudding mix

1 tsp vanilla

2 tbs ff cool whip

8 ice cubes

 

Put all ingredients in a blender and blend.

Yield: 2 servings

 

1 large Ripe banana,

4 pkgs slenda or no calorie sweetner.

1 cup 1% or fat free milk.

Enough ice to make frosty

 

Combine all ingredients in a blender or smoothy maker.

Frozen Strawberry Daiquiris

Yield: 6 (1 cup) servings

 

3 cups sliced strawberries

1 cup white rum

3 tablespoons fresh lime juice

1 (12-ounce) can limeade concentrate, thawed and undiluted

1 cup crushed ice

6 lime slices (optional)

 

Place first 4 ingredients in a blender; process until smooth. Add ice; process until smooth. Serve immediately; garnish with lime slices, if desired.

1/2 c. evaporated skim milk, chilled

1/2 teas. coconut extract

1/4 banana, peeled and frozen

1/4 cup pineapple chunks, frozen

ice cubes, 2-3

 

In blender, combine evaporated milk & extract. With blender running, add frozen banana & pineapple pieces a few at a time. Add ice cubes one at a time. Blend until smooth.

Yield: 2 servings; 2 points per serving

 

1/2 cup 1% low-fat milk

2 tsp fat-free caramel topping

1 large banana(s), sliced and frozen

1/4 cup light vanilla ice cream

 

Combine all ingredients in a blender; process until smooth. Serve immediately. Yields about 3⁄4 cup per serving.
